23These kings do not know him, nor do the Vrsnis who take their pleasure with him alone: the Self, time, the Lord, covered by the curtain of maya. 24As a sleeping man, who sees the strands as what is real, does not know his own self, which shows there as mere name and as the senses, being set apart and beyond; 25so a man whose thought is whirled about by maya among objects that are name only, through the working of the senses, does not know you, because his remembrance is swamped. 26Today we have seen that foot of yours, the ford's seat that bears away the flood of wrongs, set in the heart by those whose yoga is well ripened. Those in whom devotion welling up has struck down the store and the sheath of the living self have reached your state. Now be gracious to those devoted to you.
