And coming again to the session of the sages who speak of Brahman, king, Bhrgu set out in full what he had himself gone through. Hearing it, the sages were astonished, their doubt loosed, and they put their trust in Visnu as the greater, from whom peace comes and from whom fearlessness comes; from whom dharma itself comes, and knowledge, and the detachment that goes with it, and the eightfold lordship, and the fame that carries away the stain of the self; whom they call the highest going of the sages who have laid down the rod, who are at peace, whose minds are even, who have nothing, who are good; whose dear form is clarity and whose chosen gods are the brahmins; whom those at peace worship with nothing asked for, and whom those of skilled understanding worship too.

His shapes are of three kinds, raksasas and antigods and gods, sent forth by a maya that has the strands; and of them clarity is the means to that ford. So the brahmins of the Sarasvati, for the putting away of men's doubt, went by their service at the Person's lotus feet to the going that is his. So this praise of the supreme Person, the nectar with the scent of the lotus mouth of the sage's son, which cuts the fear of becoming: a traveller who drinks it again and again with the cups of his ears leaves behind the weariness of his wandering on the road.
