Hearing that, and in great terror, they quickly undid what was bound on Samba's belly, and in it they saw a club, and it was of iron. What have we done, luckless as we are? What will people say of us? So, shaken through, they took up the club and went home. They brought it into the assembly, the beauty gone out of their faces, and made it known to the king before all the Yadavas. Hearing of the brahmins' curse that never falls short, and seeing the club, king, the people of Dvaraka were astonished and struck with fear. Ahuka, the king of the Yadus, ground that club to powder and threw it into the water of the sea, and the piece of iron left over from it as well.
