Then Brahma came, with the gods who are his own sons around him and the lords of creatures; and Bhava, lord of what has been and what will be, went there with his hosts of spirits around him. The revered Indra with the Maruts, the Adityas, the Vasus, the two Asvins, the Rbhus, the Angirases, the Rudras, the All-gods and the Sadhyas. Gandharvas and apsarases, snakes, the perfected, the caranas and the guhyakas, sages too, and the fathers, with the vidyadharas and the kinnaras. All of them came to Dvaraka, wanting to see Krsna: the Bhagavan, a delight to the world of men in that body of his, by which he spread through the worlds a fame that takes away the stain of every world.

In that city, which shone and was rich with great riches, they looked at Krsna, wonderful to see, and their eyes were never filled. Covering the best of the Yadus with garlands brought from the gardens of heaven, they praised the lord of the world in words whose meanings were bright and various.
