Having praised Hari in this way with the gods, he of the hundred vows, with Isa beside him, bowed to Govinda, took to the sky and spoke to him. Master, self of everything, long ago we asked you to take down the burden of the earth, and that has been carried out just as we asked. Dharma has been set up by you among the good, who hold to their word; and your fame, which takes away the stain of every world, has been scattered through the quarters. Coming down into the line of Yadu and wearing a form that has none better, you did deeds whose course nothing checked, for the good of the world. Lord, good men in the Kali age who hear those deeds of yours and praise them aloud will cross the darkness easily.

Highest Person, master, a hundred autumns and twenty-five more have gone by since you came down in the line of the Yadus. Ground of everything, nothing is left over now of the work of the gods for you; and this family has been all but destroyed by the brahmins' curse. So enter your own highest abode, if you think it right; and guard us, the servants of Vaikuntha who keep the worlds, and the worlds along with us.
