7Whatever is taken hold of here by mind, by speech, by the two eyes, by hearing and the rest, is perishable. Know it to be maya, made of mind. 8For a man who is not joined, this thing of many purposes is a wandering, and it carries good and bad with it. Work, no work, wrong work: that is the split made by a mind that thinks in good and bad. 9So, with the crowd of your senses joined and your thought joined, see this world spread out inside the self, and the self in me, who rule over all. 10Joined with knowledge and with what is known directly, become the self of those who wear bodies, your own self satisfied by knowing the self; and no obstacle will strike you down.
11A man who has gone past both does not turn back from what is forbidden by seeing a fault in it, and does not do what is prescribed by seeing a good in it; he is like a child. 12A friend to all beings, at peace, settled in knowledge and in what is known directly, seeing the world as made of me, he will not come to grief again.
