However a man given over to me resolves a thing with his understanding, and whenever, joining his mind to me who am the true, just so does he come to it. The man who has come into my being, into me the ruler and the master, is struck down from no quarter at all, and his command is as my own command is. For the yogin whose clarity is made pure by devotion to me and who knows the holdings, the understanding runs through the three times, and takes in birth and death besides. The sage's body, which is made of yoga, is not destroyed by fire and the rest, his thought being stilled by yoga on me, as water does not destroy the creatures of the water.

Meditating on my great showings of power, adorned with the Srivatsa and with the weapons, with banner and parasol and fans, he becomes one who is not beaten. For the sage who serves me in this way, by the holdings of yoga, the powers spoken of before come and stand ready, every one of them and nothing left out.
