Verse 54

⁵⁴as the tasting of objects in a wishing mind is false, and so are the things seen in a dream, so, Dasarha, is the round of birth for the self. ⁵⁵Though the object is not there at all, the round of rebirth does not turn back for the man who broods on objects — as harm comes to a man in a dream. ⁵⁶So, Uddhava, do not feed on objects with senses that are not real. Look at the delusion of division, which shines out from not taking hold of the self.
