30For a good man who has got devotion, what else is left over, when I have qualities without end, when I am Brahman, whose very self is the tasting of bliss? 31As cold and fear and darkness go from one who draws near to the revered fire, so they go from one who serves the good. 32For those who sink and rise again in the terrible sea of becoming, the good are the highest place to go, those who know Brahman and are at peace: a firm boat for men drowning in the water. 33Food is the life of the living, and I am the shelter of those in distress; dharma is the wealth of men when they have gone, and the good are the refuge of those who fear what lies below.
34The good give the eyes; the sun that has risen is outside. The good are the gods and the kinsmen; the good are the self, and the good are I myself. 35So Vaitasena too, from then on wanting nothing of Urvasi's world, free of clinging, wandered over this earth, taking his pleasure in the self.
