5The Bhagavan, who is everywhere, looked at the grandfather and at the reaches of his own power, and joining the self to the self, he closed his lotus eyes. 6Without burning his own body, the delight of the worlds, auspicious to those who hold it in mind and meditate on it, by the fiery holding of yoga he entered his own abode. 7In the sky the drums sounded, and flowers fell from the air. Truth, dharma, firmness, and the earth's fame and beauty went after him. 8The gods and the rest, with Brahma at their head, did not see Krsna, whose going was not known, entering his own abode; and they were greatly astonished. 9As the course of a lightning flash going through the sky, leaving the ring of clouds, is not marked by mortals, so Krsna's course was not marked by the gods.
10But Brahma and Rudra and the rest, having seen the going of Hari by yoga, were astonished, and praising it, they went then each to his own world.
