14Then, in that flood, the waters swallow the earth's quality of smell; and the earth, its smell swallowed, is made ready for dissolving. 15Then fire swallows the taste of the waters, and they, left without taste, melt away. The wind swallows the shape of fire, and fire is left without it. 16Fire melts into the wind, and space swallows the wind's quality; and the wind, king, goes into space. Then the quality of space, 17sound, is swallowed by the first of the elements, the dark one, and space melts into it after. The bright one swallows the senses, dear one, and the one of change swallows the gods, along with the strands.
18The great principle swallows I-making, and the strands, clarity and the others, swallow the great principle. What is undivided, king, driven by time, swallows the strands.
