29This is that great maya of Visnu, which cannot be set aside and has no mark to know it by, through which those who are his very own selves are made to lose themselves among beings, by the workings of the strands. 30Where there is no maya, made to shine over and over in the talk about the self by those who talk of the self and are not afraid of being called frauds; where there is none of the many-sided argument that leans upon it, and no mind whose working is to will and to waver; 31where there is no thing made, and no maker, and nothing above the two, and no good, and no living one joined with the three, and no I: this it is, in which what is set aside and what sets it aside are both done away with. Let a sage shut out the waves and come to rest himself.
32They hand that down as the highest place, the place of Visnu, which those who wish to be rid of what is not it come to by saying, not this, not this. Letting go what is bad in themselves, with an affection turned to no one else, they take it into the heart, and with minds gathered in it is settled there. 33They reach it, this highest place of Visnu, in whom there is none of that meanness of I and mine which is born of body and house. 34Let a man bear with hard words and look down on nobody; and let him not, taking his stand on this body, make an enemy of anyone.
