Free Translation of the Benedictory Message of H.H. Jagadguru Śrī Bhāratī-tīrtha Mahāsvāmin, Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetham

Jagadguru Śrī Abhinava-vidyātīrtha Mahāsvāmin, the worthiest of worship and my revered Guru, took up paramahaṁsa-saṁnyāsa before completing His fourteenth year. By the fructification of the merits of previous lives and the unobstructed grace of His preeminent Guru, Jagadguru Śrī Candraśekhara-bhāratī Mahāsvāmin, He attained the direct realization of the Supreme Brahman in the cyclical year Yuva, in the lunar month of Mārgaśīrṣa, on the kr̥ṣṇa-dvitīyā day (corresponding to 12 December 1935), when He was 18 years of age; from then on, He abided in the bliss of jīvanmukti (the state of liberation while still alive). His dear disciple, and mine also, brahmacārin Umesh heard directly from Him all about His attaining enlightenment and jīvanmukti when He was young and clearly grasped it. He embodied the exceptional information absorbed by him in a composition of one hundred verses and showed them to me. I experienced immense joy upon perusing them. I bless that people may learn through these verses about my glorious, laudable Guru’s matchless attainment of the bliss of jīvanmukti, and thereby attain fulfilment.
