In plain words

Āṇṭāḷ, to Kāma: Kāmadēva, my lord, radiant in uniting those who are parted and mighty against their foes: my body is grimed with dust, my hair hangs loose, my lips have gone pale [without betel], and I eat only once a day. Keep in mind the vow I am keeping, mark this. There is one thing I must say to you now. So that my womanhood may be fulfilled, grant me this fortune: to be called ‘she who presses the feet of Kēśava [slayer of Kēśi], the perfect one’.
