In plain words

The poet, of the fruit of this decad: ‘You who drank the nectar of Sītā’s lips, do not wreck our little sand houses’: so lisped the little cowherd girls playing in the street. Kōtai, daughter of Viṭṭucittaṉ, lord of Villiputtūr, where live those whose mouths recite the Veda and whose work is its rites, took their words into Tamil; those who master it will reach Vaikuṇṭha, lacking nothing.
