In plain words
The cowherd girls, to Kṛṣṇa, who has taken their clothes as they bathed: You who lie on the serpent couch: we came out before the cock crowed, to plunge in and bathe, and now the sun, rich in glory, has risen. We have been utterly shamed; never again will we come to this pond. My friend and I join our hands to you: be gracious and give us back our clothes.
