In plain words

The poet, of his worship: Making my heart a city for him to dwell in, I made there a freshly blown flower with the pearl [of love] for its petals, set in it shining rubies and diamonds [of longing, as its inner petals and pollen], and, holding up that matchless lovely lotus [of devotion], I bowed at the feet of the Lord who keeps the Lady of the cool flower [Śrī Mahālakṣmī] on the right of his chest.
