In plain words

You tear off leaves, flower-woman, and in leaf after leaf there is life. The stone you tear the leaves for, that stone has no life in it. The flower-woman is mistaken, and this is how it is. The Satguru is the god who is awake. *(refrain)* Brahmā is the leaf, Viṣṇu the branch, and the flower is Śaṅkar the god. You tear the three gods in plain sight: whose worship is this you are doing? He cut the stone and made the image, setting his foot on its chest. If this image is real, then let it eat the man who carved it. Rice and lentils, sweet porridge, fried cakes, sugared flour: the one who eats has eaten it, and ash goes into this image's mouth. The flower-woman is mistaken, the world is mistaken, and I am not mistaken. Says Kabīr, Rām has kept me: Hari the King has shown his mercy.
