In plain words
Do not call the Vedas and the Katēbs false; false is the one who does not think on them. If you say the one Khudā is in everything, then why do you kill the hen? Mullā, tell me the justice of Khudā. The delusion in your mind has not gone. *(refrain)* You caught a life and brought it in, you destroyed the body, and over the clay you said *bismillāh*. The one whose form is light is unstruck and untouched. Tell me, then, what was it you made halāl? What use was your *ujū*, your washing clean, your rinsing of the mouth? What use the head you laid down in the mosque? If there is deceit in the heart and you offer the nivāj, what use is your going on hajj to the Kaaba? You are unclean, and the pure has never come clear to you; you have not known his secret. Says Kabīr, you have fallen short of *bhisat*, and your mind has settled for *dōjak*. *ujū*, the washing before prayer; *bhisat* is paradise and *dōjak* is hell.
