In plain words
The poet, longing for Śrīraṅgam: So that the great heavens, which endure, may be saved, and the gods saved; so that the earth may be saved, and the people on the earth; so that the sins that bring great sorrow may depart and a happiness without any weariness may grow; so that his servants, glad at heart, may flourish, the Lord lies at rest with love, facing the south [towards Laṅkā, for Vibhīṣaṇa]. When will the day come, I wonder, when in the holy courtyard of beautiful Araṅgaṉ I see the great gathering of his servants, overflowing with joy, and I too, of one heart with them, stay there among them?
