In plain words
The poet, of the fruit of this decad: Longing to see him till his eyes were filled and to delight in him, the Lord whose dark form shines like the sea, who lies on the serpent bed in Tiruvaraṅgam in the midst of the Poṉṉi [Kāvēri] whose banks gleam with sandbanks, Kulacēkaraṉ the generous, king of Kūṭal [Madurai], with his shining royal parasol, his mighty army and his bright sword of victory, made in words this garland of Tamil, shining in its style. Those who can recite all ten will reach the feet of Nārāyaṇa, in whom every auspicious quality shines.
