In plain words
The poet, of the servants of Araṅgaṉ: That he embraced the two shoulders of the Lady [Śrī] of the lotus abounding in petals, that with a blazing arrow he pierced the tall, great trees [the seven sāl trees], that he grazed the herds [as Kṛṣṇa]: thinking of these alone, his servants dance and sing and call out, "O Araṅgā!" If we may bathe in the dust of their feet, what use is the desire to plunge and bathe in the waters of the Gaṅgā?
