In plain words
The poet, of the servants of Araṅgaṉ: That he crushed the bulls [the seven, for Nappiṉṉai], that as a boar he dug up the earth, that long ago as Rāma he crushed his foe [Rāvaṇa], that he measured the world [as Trivikrama]: telling of these and singing, his servants turn the holy courtyard of Araṅgaṉ's temple to mud with the tears of their eyes, flowing like that great river, the bountiful Poṉṉi [Kāvēri]. The rich mud from their red feet I will wear upon my head as an ornament.
