In plain words

The poet, of the servants of Araṅgaṉ: Araṅgaṉ, whose form is like a mass of dark clouds, of lovely radiance, whose red mouth shows a white smile like pearls, whose chest bears a necklace [of pearls]: he is that one light, rare and great. There are those whose hearts are set on reaching him and enjoying him, who come to him and stand with tears welling, pouring and flowing down; my heart bears a love that seeks nothing in return for their two feet.
