The poet, of the fruit of this decad: Kulacēkaraṉ of the royal parasol, king of the people of Kōzhi [Uṟaiyūr], with his bright sword of victory and his army bearing weapons skilled in killing, put into words the story of him who dwells with Māruti, shining with might, in Tiruccitrakūṭam in the town of Tillai, from when he appeared as the son of Daśaratha of boundless glory to when he entered his own world. Those who can recite all ten of this sweet Tamil garland, true to the rules of verse, will reach the feet of Nārāyaṇa, who shines in the realm of every good [Paramapadam].
