In plain words
You gave me poison, Rāṇājī, and I knew it; you gave poison, and I knew. There is no gladness and no grief in my heart, neither gain nor loss. Take gold and lay it in the fire, and it comes out at its full purity. Now it is for you alone to keep my honour, lord: strain the milk apart from the water. The Rāṇā spoke this word: hear now what I have to say. Put the sādhus' company right away from you, and I will make you chief queen. Fort and king I would cast away for the saints, into whose hands I am sold. Did I ever join the wedding hand-clasp with you? I am Giridhar's chief queen. My father's country is Merta; I have let go the claim my lineage had on me. Mīrā's lord is Giridhar Nāgar; she lies clasped to his lotus feet.
