In plain words

Rāṇājī, I will not stay checked by you any longer. The company of sādhus is dear to me; the shame of the veil has gone. I left Merta, my own parents' house; surat and nirat, both of them sprang open. The Satguru showed me the mirror of the body; I will dance and snap my fingers. Take back your necklace and all your finery; I have flung down the bangles from my wrist. My suhāg has shown himself to me now; no one else knows what is in this heart. Rāṇā, I want no palace and no fort, nor the sari of silk cloth. Mīrā has gone crazed and wanders; every lock of her hair is scattered loose.
