In plain words

I have held your shining name in my mind, O Ēkampaṉ of Kanchi, where striped bees hum in the broad groves. I have cut away my hard viṉai. I saw the wretched state of those who do not bow to you, and I laughed at them. I have come to clarity: I will wear the feet of your servants.

Line by line

I have held in my mind your shining name; in the broad groves where striped bees hum, O Ēkampaṉ of Kanchi; my hard viṉai I have cut away; the wretchedness of those who do not bow to you seeing, them I laughed at; to wear the feet of your servants I have become clear indeed.
