In plain words

The place where your feet stand was beyond the reach of Viṣṇu. For Brahmā of the flower, the high crown where your head stands was hard to see. O Ēkampaṉ, whose bull has a voice that rolls round like thunder from the dark cloud, how then shall we bow to you, who hold the sharpened trident?

Line by line

The region where the feet stand was beyond reach for Māl; for Ayaṉ of the flower the encircling crown where the head stands became hard to see; of the dark cloud the thunder that stands, the encompassing voice, O Ēkampaṉ who has the bull; how shall we you who hold the sharpened trident weapon, bow to indeed?
