In plain words

Ēkampar, the Father, has a beauty greater even than his knowledge. There are those who do not cling to the great ones whose knowledge is practised in his glory, who know not one of the ways that knowledge, made beautiful by clinging love, takes up. Through ignorance they are thrown down to the gods below, and they have perished, and they lie in the world.

Line by line

Ēkampar, the Father, whose beauty is greater than his knowledge; in his glory practised, the great ones of knowledge, those who do not cling to them; of clinging love the beauty, of knowledge, of the ways it takes up, not knowing one; by ignorance, to the gods thrown down below, perished, they lie in the world indeed.
