In plain words

My girl, who came like the abiding grace of Ēkampaṉ in his hide of the strong striped forest tiger, my girl, whose beauty makes golden Tirumakaḷ grieve, gave me my lovely kazhaṅku pebbles and the ball, round as a breast and wound with thread, and embraced me too, and parted from the house. Where does she go now, on the stony path of the striped herds? O poor heart, sinking!

Line by line

Of the hide of the strong striped forest tiger, the abiding grace of Ēkampaṉ like, who came, for my girl, at whom the golden goddess grieves, my lovely kazhaṅku pebbles and the ball, round as a breast and wound, giving, and embracing me too, parting from the house, on the stony path of the striped herds, where does she go? O my poor heart that sinks.
