In plain words
Though the dark-hued one once embraced seven bulls, today the herdsmen have let loose a lone bull that has won in battle, saying, “Those who faced it died.” In the pastures of Kanchi of Ēkampar, whose bull wears a garland, it is those who embrace the young bull who will win the right to rest on the breast of their golden, finely jewelled girl.
