In plain words
Yaśōdā begs: "You who took the form of a mighty lion and tore open the body of the demon [Hiraṇyakaśipu] with sharp claws till the blood welled up thick, meaning, against the father's denial, that his son [Prahlāda] should be held truthful; you who, when the lord of the gods on high [Indra] came on in great rage and the great black clouds poured down stones and gales, took thought, made the hill [Gōvardhana] your umbrella and guarded the cattle: valiant one, dance the ceṅkīrai for me once! Fighting bull of the herdsmen, dance, oh dance!"
