In plain words
Yaśōdā calls: "You who have raised my joy ever higher, ever hard for the gods to reach; King who killed the elephant with the great domed brow; death in the heart of cruel Kaṃsa; you of Veḷḷaṟai with walls of red gold; child growing up in plenty: see, the dreadful skull-bearer [Durgā] is out there! Run here quickly and let me perform the rite of protection over you!"
