In plain words
The poet, of the fruit of this decad: Viṭṭucittaṉ, who can grasp the true meaning of the Vedas, has set down in this garland the words with which Yaśōdā, highest among women, performed the rite of protection over her son, the Lord who stands at Tiruveḷḷaṟai ever united with Śrī, the foremost consort, who is wealth itself and sits on the lotus. Devotees who can take to heart the fruit told in the closing line of each verse [the rite of protection] will see their sins fall away.
