In plain words

The poet, of the fruit of this decad: Long ago the Lord of beautiful Araṅgam, ringed by the Kāviri with its flowing waters and by groves where bees, drunk on honey, hum aloud, played all this play. Those who can take these songs of Paṭṭarpirāṉ [foremost of brāhmaṇas] Viṭṭucittaṉ, sing them and dance, will become Gōvinda's own servants and stand as lamps to all eight directions, dispelling their darkness: their two feet I will wear upon my head.
