In plain words
Yaśōdā grieves: him, the one coloured like kohl, the chief of the cowherds who wears their guise, I bathed, and then, instead of letting him roam from house to house as he liked, why ever did I send my child behind the calves, so that the anklet-bound feet that kicked Kaṃsa should ache? Alas, what a sin!
