In plain words

The poet, to those who seek him: You who are searching for the place where Rāma dwells, Rāma of matchless greatness, whose tall crown blazes like a thousand rayed suns together: there are those who saw him just as he was, when as the Man-Lion [Narasiṃha] he tore open the chest of Hiraṇya of the ringing anklets and battle-hungry shoulders, and sat with his hands steeped in blood.
