In plain words

The poet, of Araṅgam: Even if the Lady of the lotus herself, [who pleads for souls before him,] should start to count the faults of his servants, he would brush her aside with words like these: My servants would not do that, and if they did, they did well. For the sake of Vibhīṣaṇa, rich in wealth, he has set his blossomed eyes toward walled Laṅkā. Would anyone become the servant of another than my Lord of Tiruvaraṅgam?
