In plain words
The poet, of the Lord: He is the one the four Vedas, faultlessly recited, speak of. His form, so sweet it puts honey to flight, is like the surging sea and like the water of a mountain stream. He lies in the Sea of Milk whose waves carry conches; he rests on the serpent bed; he is the one the ocean of scripture speaks of, as those who study it expound it; and he cannot be known [by those who seek him by their own effort].
