The poet, to the people of the world: Those who recite the Veda well without a break, who fasten the bolt called knowledge [of the self and of the Supreme], who shut the strong door called holding the five senses each within its own bounds, and who meditate well: they will surely see, day after day, the nature of the Lord whose colour is the green sea.
