In plain words
The poet, to the people of the world: You need not stand among the mountains, nor bathe in the rivers, nor stand amid the five fires. If you strew flowers and worship with joined hands, truly, seeking nothing else of him, the Lord who has come to lie at Veḵkā, held dear by all, will not your evil deeds see there is no place for them, and shrink away?
