Invocation 2
In plain words
Vēdappirāṉ Bhaṭṭar, to his heart: O my heart, consent to recite the antāti in the kalittuṟai metre [a chain of verses, each opening with the close of the one before] that Amutu of Tiruvaraṅgam, a man of lofty character [devoted to his teacher], spoke out of his swelling love on the two feet of Rāmānuja the sage, whose fame grants victory [over saṃsāra] to those who came to him, finding in him, without fault, all the great joy that the objects of the senses give.
