In plain words
If I am tied in the noose of attachment, I have tied you in the bonds of love. Try what you can to get yourself loose. I got loose by worshipping you. Mādhau, you know how this stands, exactly as it stands. Now, with things like this, what will you do? *(refrain)* They catch the fish, they slice it and cut it and cook it a dozen ways. Piece by piece they eat it, and even then it has not forgotten the water. Hari the King is nobody's inheritance from his father; he belongs to whoever loves him. The veil of attachment has spread over the whole world; the devotee it does not touch. Says Ravidās, *bhagati* alone has grown in me; now who is there to tell this to? The pain on whose account I worshipped you, that pain I am bearing still. *bhagati*, love given as worship and as service.
