In plain words

Your Name is my *ārtī*, Murāri, and your Name the water I wash in. Without Hari's Name, the whole spread of things is false. *(refrain)* Your Name is the seat, your Name the grinding stone, your Name the saffron I take up and scatter. Your Name is the water, your Name the sandalwood; I grind it saying the Name, and with the Name I anoint you. Your Name is the lamp, your Name the wick, your Name the oil I pour in. I lit the flame of your Name, and the light filled every house. Your Name is the thread, your Name the garland of flowers. The eighteen loads of green are all of them leavings. It is all your own making; what am I to offer you? Your Name is the whisk, and it is over you I wave it. The ten and eight, the sixty-eight, the four wombs of birth: this is the coin the whole world deals in. Says Ravidās, your Name is my ārtī. The True Name, Hari, is the food I set before you. *ārtī*, the tray of lamps waved before the god. The eighteen loads are everything that grows; the ten and eight are the Purāṇas, the sixty-eight the bathing places, the four the ways a creature can be born.
