In plain words
Nāth, I know nothing at all. My mind has been sold into māyā's hand. *(refrain)* You are called the Guru of the world, the Master. I am called one of Kalijug's lustful men. These five have spoiled my mind. Moment by moment they put a distance between me and dear Hari. Wherever I look there is a heap of sorrow. Even now the mind will not believe it, though the scriptures have stood witness. Gotam's wife; Umā's lord, the master; the head brought down to the earth; the body that wore a thousand marks. These demons bound the fool and struck him down. Shameless through and through, and even now he has not given in. Says Ravidās, what is there to do, and how is it to be done? Without Raghunāth, whose shelter is there to take? Gotam's wife is Ahalyā, Umā's lord is Śiva, the head on the ground is Brahmā's, and the thousand marks are the ones Indra was made to wear.
