In plain words

The poet, to the people of the world: Offer whatever counts as a flower, bow down, and praise him: him who wears golden fish-shaped earrings, the great Lord who is the first cause, the Master, the loving one, Nārāyaṇa, whose names cut off our seven births. To recite those names is the course that serves us best.
