The poet: When the soul runs off, taking the vital breath and leaving the body behind, the Lord himself runs after it. Those who live singing the names of him who removes all that is called distress, knowing that no striving of their own is needed, are the ones who truly live; as for the prosperity of those bound to lowly means, it is worthless.
