In plain words
The poet, to the Lord: O you who lie upon Ananta [Ādiśeṣa] and are our means! O Pure One, lovely with the garland of tulasi from the fields! Are you not born here on earth, among its kinds? Are you not ruler in heaven [of the eternal attendants]? Are you not beyond the reckoning of those who stand bewildered on the earth and reckon? Are you not before the eyes of your own people, and far from those who are against them? What wonder is this!
