In plain words
The poet, to the Lord: O wondrous one, with the cool tulasi where the bees roam! O you of the colour of the sea, who dwell on your couch on the ocean waters and in the hearts of your devotees! All this bowing to you and praising you by me, a mere dog, counting myself pure and not counting my impurity: you too, in your own mind, forgive it, and grant me grace.
